I am a bit late

I am trying to post at least once a Week and chose Monday but then I forgot so I am a bit late.. Sorry.. Since nothing seems to go as I plan and I have been re arranging my Craft room, decluttering my Home. rearranging my Craft room again and more decluttering then not finishing what I start and loosing something that I know I have seen before I started the decluttering and rearranging so I started digging thru tubs and now it's a bigger mess then what I started with so I am looking and noticing.. I HAVE TOO MUCH STUFF.. Something has to change.. I put in my Mind that we will be moving this Year and it helped for a little bit.. till I got distracted and left the mess be.. Kids and strange Cat don't help as they are having fun digging in the mount of *junk* and spreading it further.. lol.. I bet you are getting a nice visual.. Thankfully it is contained to 1 area of the House only!!! It's time to get back into my Head we are moving and you better hurry up and part with some stuff you never even used or haven't in Years.. We are not moving though so it isn't working well!!!

Hope everyone had a great Superbowl Sunday. We got to spend ours with some amazing People from our Church and Bible Study Group. It was fun for the Adults and Kids. The Couple that hosted is such a inspiration and a blessing!!!

Memo Board and a Rose

Hello everyone...
I have been so busy and it's so unusual for me not to be more crafty during the Winter BUT this has been 1 strange Winter.. My Weeks get pretty busy with weekly Dance, Dinner get together, Bible Study, Awana's and another Bible Study.. Once a Month we get together to Craft and I am working on getting caught up with the Books. I am 3 years behind :( Bad me.. I think we might have to add a monthly bowling into that because it was so much fun..
Anyways as I probably mentioned before I have a new Addiction. Pinterest. I have been pinning allot of things like Home decor, fitness tips. Recipes and so on.. I have been wanting to get Madison one of these cute Memo Boards we see in the Store but I know I could do it myself if I really tried.. So I was browsing on Pinterest the other Night and what did I find.. Instructions on how to make it.. So got the left over Fabric and fill I have had for 2+ Years (saving for when I need it, right) and my extra Cork Board.. Found Hubby's Staple gun and went to work. It was easy as can be.. Got the Ribbon on and did the back and when I tried to add the handle I ran out of staples.. BUT I had enough for the Board.. Added Glue Dots for the Hanger..
My Ribbon moved a little when I was turning it so I am sorry it isn't perfect.. after adding Pics you can't tell though.. So proud I did something I have pinned... Madi LOVES it.

Added some Buttons I have had from the Stampin Up Clearance Rack and attached them with Glue Dots..
VOILA.. What'cha think?

And here is a Blue Rose..

I punched out 18 Ovals with the Large Oval Punch.. layered them nicely and made it into a beautiful Rose. Used the Leaves from the Bird Punch and a 6x6 Sheet of DSP. Some Ribbon to tie and all done.

Blessing Bags

I recently found Pinterest.. Oh my is it addicting. I thought Facebook was bad..
Anywho I came across a Picture that intrigued me so I had to click on it. Then
clicked on it again to read more about it.. You can read the Post HERE. I was
very intrigued with this Idea because we see at least 1 Homeless Man standing
on the Corner in Town on Sundays. I always feel bad for them because we never
carry cash with us so this Idea just felt like it was meant for me to see that Day.
So I posted it on my Wall and 2 of my Friends wanted to participate.. We went
and got a bunch of Items together and Saturday evening we put our Blessing Bags
together. 12 of them total. 3 for each and 3 to give to another Family for them
to give out when they see one in need. Ours is a little different but hope the Items
we put together will be helpful to those who receive them. I know we didn't get all
the Items they did but it's a start!

Vikki made the Card to add. She used her Cricut. It says Love knows your Name.

Wow a New Year has begun

and I have yet to post anything.. We are already 6 Days into it.. Time sure passes by sometimes way to quickly. Happy New Year!!!
I hope everyone had a wonderful start to the New Year.. This will be a GREAT Year!!!
I spent New Years eve with my Bestie, her Family and the Couples from our Bible Study. Hubby joined us after he got off Work..
We also adopted a furry Friend before New Years. After spending several hours at the Animal Shelter with 3 different long haired Boys.. King came home with us a Week ago and omw he is a joy.. at 1st he was overly affectionate but since yesterday he has calmed down. Maybe he is realizing he is here to stay.. We already got him to the Vet and he is now 1/2 a boy (if you can say it that way)..

Then work on DD's and then Hubby's Air Force Book :) So proud I am getting somewhat caught up. This Year I want to be all done with them so I can just add pages as I get pics..

I wanted to post a Update on my Friends situation and let you know what is going on now ..
My Best Friend's Husband had a Colonacopy (sp) last Wed. They found something that shouldn't be there. He had to have a Cat-scan to see if it had spread. They were to find out the Biopsy and results of Scan Friday. Appt got cancelled and rescheduled for Tuesday. They were left hanging over the Christmas Holiday but made the best of it. They came over for Christmas Dinner and we played some Apples to Apples.
Tuesday morning they called to let them know the results over the Phone prior to the Appt. It is Cancer :( but has not spread :). So they had their Appt. Were told the Dr here could not operate because of location and so forth. Had to put in a Call to a Place in Minn. that specializes in this field. Waited on the Call to come for him to be seen in the Cities. They are going there on Jan 9th to be seen for a Sonogram and a Surgery Consult. Then wait to see how they want to proceed. Surgery right away or Chemo..
Please, please, please pray for them. They have allot of faith and allot of People praying for them..

I am still in shock about the News my close friend and her Family received today.. Please keep them in your Thoughts and Prayers. I don't want to name their Names or what it's about yet but PLEASE pray today, tomorrow and next Week. It is Health related. I know God works Miracles and with him on our side and prayer we can get thru everything.
I made a Card for them and I have been thinking of them none stop with heavy Heart!

I know a Card won't take away the pain, fear and uncertainty but I wanted to do more then just give them a Hug and pray for them..

Birthday with Bling

Here is my latest Happy Birthday Card I made. I totally LOVE the Rhinestones from Stampin Up. Madison does as well. Since I got my Nose pierced in early May I noticed all my small Rhinestones (and pearls) disappearing. Madison sure is sporting some pretty Nose Jewelry recently, ha ha. She is too cute.. Anywho.. to the Card!

I used the beautiful Elegant Bouquet Emboss Folder and added Rhinestones, Bashful Blue and Baja Breeze Cardstock. The Sentiment is from the On your Birthday Set. Really love the LIVE, LAUGH and LOVE!!!

Love is in the Air

Our last Swap Card in the 6 Month Swap is a Valentines Day theme. I had some Ideas but couldn't make up my mind which way and how to do it.. so this is what I ended up with..

I had this Ribbon for a while in a Ribbon Set that retired a while back. Thought it would be a great touch here. Sadly I can not remember all the Colors I used (I know 1 is creamy Caramel. The Green Heart was actually DSP but the embossing sorta hid the Image on the Paper so I turned it around. The Sentiment is from the Grateful Greetings Set..
I am a bit sad that our Swap is finished. I will be taking a break from Swaps though for now. Just so much going on that I need to focus on. Once things settle I hope to get back into another 1. They are fun and you get some great inspiration from others. I have kept all my Cards I have gotten and they are in my Book. Beautiful Cards by some very creative Ladies :)

I know you can't wait to see the Houses the Ladies in the Club created.. OMG so much talent.. Jessica won in 1st Place. No 2nd was chosen but I gave everyone a Prize since they all worked hard to create such Master pieces!!

and Theresa did a wonderful Job on hers as well.. I really like the Snow she added as well as the fence and all. just very sweet...

Bonnie didn't finish hers in time but she will finish it later.. Kathleen is in Hawaii (lucky her) so she didn't take a house to do.. I am so incredibly proud of the Ladies.. They did such a wonderful Job with the House. I might have to order more for them :)

My Page Punch Creation

I have been having this Vision of how I wanted this Page for the Club to be but I had no Idea where to start. I thought of cutting out the Fireplace with the Cricut but that wouldn't be using Stampin Up. So as I sat in my disaster of my Craft Room it hit me.. PUNCHES.. not like I don't own any.. I store my Punches in 1 of those over the door show bags and I have a TON of punches. Perfect though since I see what I have. I love my punches (what don't I love, lol)
Anyways.. so here is my Creation that I came up with..

I colored this in with Glitter Pens I got a while ago.. can't believe they still work.. then added some Bling

and have you noticed this??? I made it with Punches.. What do you think??? I am very proud of it if I may say so.. and the stocking Punch.. love love love it..

I have to say I am sooo proud of this Page.. I hope you reading will like it as much as I do..

A yummy Treat (Thank you Cheryl)

My Military Blogging Buddy Cheryl recently posted this YUMMY Treat on her Blog from Lindsay's Blog. Thank you Cheryl for sharing this Treat. I couldn't resist and had to make this.. OH MY it is GOOD.. The Kids LOVE it.. Can you say Sugar overload and tummy ache if you eat too much!!!

Candy Corn Bark

1 bag of candy corn

1 bag of white candy melts

parchment paper

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Pour half of your bag of candy corn onto the cookie sheet.

Melt candy melts in the microwave at 30 second intervals and then stir. Continue until melted. Pour over candy corn. Evenly spread.

Pour the remaining candy corn into the melted chocolate.

Refrigerate for one hour. OR stick in the freezer to expedite the process.

Break apart into 2-3 inch pieces and SERVE!

I didn't use the Microwave but my new Pampered Chef Boiler I got just for melting Candy :) I also used Fall Candy Corn I bought for a project but then didn't use. Not Christmas'y but still nice since we don't have any Snow on the Ground anymore (yet) it still fits!

It's December.. Where has this Year gone? I am actually excited about next Year. My Hubby will put on the next Rank (so proud of him).. and I have a good feeling that hopefully we will be leaving ND for hopefully nicer scenery with more trees and such.. 4+ years and I am really ready. This might just be wishful thinking but anywho.. 2012 is going to be a GREAT Year!!! a healthier Year.

Here is a Winter Card I created for our Club get together on Saturday. I am excited to see the Girls. I gave them Homework. I ordered those beautiful Houses for everyone and they were to decorate them and bring them finished to the next Club. I can't wait to see what they all came up with. I am giving a Prize away to the BEST House :)

Finished Card with Scenic Season

Today I have kept myself very busy.
1st Gym, then dropped of Kids Gifts at a Friends house for the Kids Christmas Party, went to town to get some things for the Tree and finish stockings for the Kids. after that sat down to work on Cards. Now I am all done and the Brain has too much time to think. Today marks the 4th Anniversary of my Sisters passing. Sometimes it feels like it just happened. So unreal 4 years have passed since I got that call. And sometimes it feels like this is a bad dream and I will wake up any minute to the phone ringing and she is on the other end. I miss her. I know she is in the best Place ever and I know we will see each other again.

I finally finished this Card I showed you earlier. I finally fell in love with it the way it was after staring at it long enough but since making this Card I have unmounted the Stamp and cut the Sentiment apart from the Image. They are now all Cling Mounted and in a Stampin Up Stamp/DVD Case :) I figured that way everyone could choose the Sentiment they wanted. Either from Scenic Season or the Many Merry Messages Set. Think it's a good Idea? Now to find a clear Block that is big enough for the Stamp. I know I have 1 but where, lol.

Inks are Black, Night of Navy and So Saffron
Stickles Glitter Glue to add sparkle on the ground as well as color the Bird.
I also finished my other Club Card and I am so excited. I love it. Yup I do ;)
Got another Card done for a Birthday which is on the way to the recipient. Hope she will like it as well.

trying to come up with things

I have a Club on Saturday next Week and I am stumped on Ideas.. I have been wanting to do a silhouette type thing but can't seem to get it right.. What do you think?

I am trying to make the shadow from the tree's on the snow (scene) and also have the moon reflecting.. hmmmmmmm will have to play more... Can you guys reading give me some Ideas?

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.. Did you go out shopping? I dared out for about 5 hours with my Neighbor and got a few Deals still in the afternoon.. Menards had Cricut Lite Carts for $12.99. I got my Friend Vikki her Birthday Gift.. I was stoked to find it :) I got Madi a cute little Cupcake Squinkie House thingy and when I got home I realized I should have bought the Gumball House because I bought the Cupcake 1 last Month at Target.. Oh well 1 is going back now or saving it for a Birthday Gift.. I know a few Girls who will have Birthdays coming up soon and they like them too. Town wasn't as crazy anymore when we started so that was good.
Well back to the Table I go to come up with something for the Club.. Something easy yet that makes you go WoW :)

We had our Monthly Stampin Club meeting tonight.. what a rocky start our Club has had. Anywho I hope we will soon have a good Group with everyone coming every Month...

Since somehow my Lovely as a Tree is missing :( I had to use a different sadly retired Set. I have loaned out so many Sets that somehow never make it back from the person who takes them.
Anyways the Card turned out cute but I had to use a retired Set and everyone loved this Set.

Our next Card I think is the cutest.. I really love the heat embossing

Now wish I could remember who I loaned out my stuff to. I really should keep a notepad and have them write in it.. name, set and date taken!!! but I always forget it.

Breaking Dawn Part 1

Last Night I went with a few Friends to the Midnight opening of Breaking Dawn Part 1. We saw Eclipse 1st.. What a awesome experience. I can't believe I stayed awake till past 2am. BUT the Movie was incredible and awesome and wow.. BEST 1 so far!
And since I am Team Jacob I had to get his Cup :)

It was a great Time with some Great Ladies. Can not wait till next Year when Part 2 comes out. Wonder why we have to wait so so long. Maybe SM will finish the 5th Book (hope) so they can do 1 more Movie but I doubt it!
I will have 2 Cards to show soon. Fall for the Get together.
Tomorrow we have a base wide Craft get together. Kinda excited to see how it works out. It's the 1st one at the Chapel..

Can you believe it's Fall.. Well it's been Fall.. We have hardly any Leaves on the Trees :( Not so many beautiful Colors but that's ND for ya after a few days of very strong Winds..
I made a Fall Page for the next Club get together but I am sure I will change it again before November 20th.. Yup I know I am way ahead.. but then again I will prolly change it some before then.. Next will be 2 Fall cards.. Already have designs drawn out but haven't put them together yet..

I used some Dimensionals to pop up some of the Leaves as well as the lower Picture Mat. The Leaves were fro a Cuttlebug Cutting/Embossing Die Combo I got about 2 years ago.. Finally used it :) I have been clearing out my Craft Room. Parting with stuff I have not used. Giving some away and selling some.. Making room and preparing..

I got a new Cartridge in the Mail that I purchased from a really nice Lady on Splitcoast Stamper after being scammed by another Member on the Group. Sad there are people like that :(

My Friend Heather in Kansas posted asking for Prayers for her Cousin's Grandson
so I asked her if I could post about him on my Blog and the RAOK Board I am a
Member of. She was happy that I want to send him and his Family a Card and share
it with others to send 1 as well. I hope some of you will help me flood Dylan's

Her Cousin's 3 year old Grandson Dylan was just diagnosed with Leukemia.
Here is what she told me about Dylan to share with you all.
Dylan likes Football, baseball and basketball are his favorite sports. He has
grown up in Wisconsin, so I would say Green Bay is his NFL team. He also likes
deer hunting and he says that Jesus is his friend.
Isn't that just the sweetest thing you read? He says Jesus is his Friend. Brought
tears to my Eyes.

They have a small selection but my Friend said when she bought some a few weeks before they had different ones.. For $15 you can't beat that.. I only bought 1 today because I had wanted that one.. Some of these are selling on Ebay for twice that Price!!!

Today is a hard yet joyful day for my little Sister Melanie as well as for my Parents and myself.
Today is my little Sisters Birthday in Germany.. it's also my big Sister Manuela's Birthday in Heaven. She would be celebrating the BIG 40. But sadly this is her 3rd Birthday she is celebrating up with God, Jesus, other Family Members (who are gone) and the Angels.. Bet it's a amazing Party.. I miss her dearly but know we will see each other when my time comes.. Sometimes I feel as if she is standing right next to me..

We went on a Field Trip with the 2nd Grade to Hatton ND to visit the Carl Ben Eielson Museum. The School here on Base is actually named after Carl Ben Eielson.. Wow so much History here I didn't even know about. The Field Trip was amazing and I learned so much..
I also met a new Scrappin' Friend who will be joining the monthly get together.. I decided to apply to rent a space at the base Chapel so we can have more room to spread out and visit/craft. We are starting the monthly meetings Nov 19th.. so much excitement :)

Wow things have changed since I posted giving up my Stampin Up Demo ship.. I since have gotten 6 Girls together for a monthly Club. We are starting on the 18th of this Month.. I had to order a few things and have almost caught up with what I needed but after the 1st Club meeting will be at the min for the Quarter. I am so excited about this.. I never really did it as a Business.. just became a Demo for the Discount.. Now I will be ok for 6 Months.. Till March at least. A few of the Girls already asked about once the 6 months are up what happens next.. Told them if they like the Club we could do another one :)
So Project for the 1st Club was chosen to be 2 12x12 Scrapbook Pages. I made this 1 Page at a Scrap get together Saturday but need to change it to make it easier yet prettier..

The emboss Photo Mat isn't sticking well and once Pics are added most of the Purple (elegant eggplant) will not be showing :(

Here is the cute Girl Fleece no sew Blanket I made for Hubby's Friend and Wife..

I absolutely LOVE this Pattern. Blue/Brown and Pink/Brown are my fav Color combos next to hot Pink/Black and Red/Black
These Blankets are so easy to make and so much fun. I think I might try and make 1 for our King Bed for the Summer. That 1 would be HUGE and would require allot more work and probably take more then the usual Hour.. Might make it 4 Panels on top (brown/blue to match our room) and a single Panel on bottom (if I can find it large enough).. and if I find the right colors that is..
It's been raining since yesterday here.. looks like fall has definitively arrived. Hardly any colors though.. went from green leaves to almost no leaves from the big wind storms we had 2+ days in a row.. I love Fall. Cooler Temps and the amazing Colors..

Baby Blanket

My Neighbor is having a little Boy later this Month.. She really likes my AF Fleece no sew Blanket I have in our DR on the Banister so I thought I would make her a Blanket for her Baby :)
I went to JoAnn's hoping to find the Fleece that would sorta go with her Nursery but no such Luck.. I saw this Pattern and OMG I had to buy it.. JoAnn's has their Fleece 50% off :)

I already know the perfect Card to make with this one.. But probably won't be done till later.

Hubby really liked the Blanket and asked if I could make 1 for a Couple who just had a little Girl.. So Sat we went to JoAnn's and I got the same Fleece but in Pink and Brown.. What a Weekend

So what happened...
The Day started out so amazing.. We met a Friend and her Daughters in Town.. The Girls had not seen each other in a few weeks so a visit was over due. I took one of the Girls back home with me while my Friend could take care of some things.. Great Day.. Girls had fun and then it was evening and time to say good-bye.. 1 left a Toy in DD's Room so the Girls raced upstairs and mine slipped and slammed her Head into the corner of the Door.. A ER visit had to be made.. spending over 5 hours in the ER was no fun.. 6 Stitches fixed the very deep wound and we were back home after Midnight.. I was scared out of my Mind.. So thankful God was watching over us..
Saturday we went to Dinner & a Movie for a Friends Birthday. Just a few Gals.. I made a quick Card inspired by a Cricut Magazine I saw.. The Movie we saw was Abduction.. All I have to say is Taylor Lautner.. not as tan as in Twilight but still yummo :) Not a bad Movie!!! Dinner was great and we were back home before 10pm. Guess we are getting old.. ha ha!

I am still in awwww that my little Princess will be 4 next Week.. Where has the time gone? We have been in ND over 4 years.. My little one was born exactly 2 Weeks after our arrival.. I can not wait to say good-bye to this place though.. although I have more happy memories the sadness of our start here overshadows it.. Winters are hard here and to add the sadness I feel every single October November and December makes it even harder.. Next Month my Sister would be turning 40 but instead she is celebrating it in Heaven. November marks the 4th Anniversary of her passing.. I still have a hard time with it.. I wish I could see her one more time.. Call her one more time and just tell her I love her.. I know she knows but still..
Anyways HAPPY THOUGHTS and no tears..

Party Creations

A Friend of mine booked a Party with me a few ago. We made a Card and a Bookmark. With all the parties going on lately I was sad that her Party didn't reach a full Party to receive Benefits :(
I don't do Parties and plan on quitting being a Stampin Up Demo.. Since I am mostly a Hobby Demo and have been for many Years I tend to have ALLOT of things because we have a $100 a month Order obligation to keep active.. I have been thinking about this for a while.. $1200 a year is ALLOT of Money and with the crunch lately I think it is time for me to say good-bye to Stampin up.. I will be ordering my fav Cardstock Colors to stock up (since I am almost out of those) and then will call SU and cancel my Demo Ship :( I am a bit sad but have been playing with this Idea since last Year already.. I have more Stamps then a Person needs.. then count all the Sizzix Dies and my Cricut Cartridges in that makes for 1 packed Craft Room..

Update on Noah :(

I got notification this morning from Noah's Website and my Heart is aching.. Please please keep Noah's Family in your Prayers.. Noah's Brother still want's to finish the Map so please if you have not yet send a Card help his Brother finish it for Noah.

Noah received his angel wings at 2:11 this morning, 9-21-2011.

It was very peaceful and beautiful. Noah is finally free to run and play in Heaven with our Lord and Savior and all of our loved ones, especially Mawmaw Deb!

I made some Gift Card Holders with some old Stampin Up Cards I have Packages laying around still..
Nothing Fancy but kinda cute
Here is what I started with

Then added some Paper and Stickers (I got these while we were stationed in Louisiana and we have now been here a little over 4 years, so you can imagine how many Years I have had these... sad isn't it?)

I even added a little something to the Envelopes.

Really hope the recipient will like these. I am pretty sure that special Person will ;)
So back to another Project.. Madison's Birthday Invitations need to be made.. My Princess is turning 4 on October 1st.. We have been up North 4 years and a few Days now.. Feels like 4-eva but knowing my little Baby is turning 4 makes me think the time has flown by way too fast...

Love Children's Church

I really LOVE our Children Church.. Jen who runs Pre School Group is such a amazing and sweet Lady. Becky who runs the School aged Kids Class is so energetic and fun to be around.. Sunday I worked with Madison's age Group again and we made some really simple yet so beautiful Crosses for Crafts. Jen always has such great Ideas and the Kids LOVE it.
Here is what the little ones made.

Sunday was my last time volunteering till after the Winter.. Before the new schedule came out I asked to be removed since sometimes driving on the Hwy up here during Winter isn't as great as it sounds.. So instead of possibly leaving them hanging on a Day I was to be there and couldn't I chose to just remove myself for now. Winter get's pretty crazy at times and the Hwy sometimes does get shut down!!! Better safe then sorry!!!
Hope you enjoy a wonderful Week. I am going to work on October Swap soon so check back.. then will try and do Nov and Dec as well so I can have them ready.. She loves them and plays for hours with them.. They came out with Disney packs now and boy does she looooove those..

The President of the United States: Keep current 20 year military retirement plan in place

This petition is important because Soldiers have earned the right to fully retire after 20 years of service. Enduring combat, loss of comrades, and unbearable stress on families. They deserve to collect full pension and benefits as soon as their 20 years of service is complete. If the new plan comes into effect, Soldiers will be required to "invest" in this horrible market, lose thousands of dollars in benefits, and they will be only to begin collecting their retirement closer to age 60. This is highly unacceptable.
Current Plan: Serve 20 years, get full benefits and 50% of your pay for the REST of your life, begin to draw pay immedietally (short overview, search more on google if you want)

Propsed Plan:

A sweeping new plan to overhaul the Pentagon’s retirement system would give some benefits to all troops and phase out the 20-year cliff vesting system that has defined military careers for generations.
In a massive change that could affect today’s troops, the plan calls for a corporate-style benefits program that would contribute money to troops’ retirement savings account rather than the promise of a future monthly pension, according to a new proposal from an influential Pentagon advisory board.
All troops would receive the yearly retirement contributions, regardless of whether they stay for 20 years. Those contributions might amount to about 16.5 percent of a member’s annual pay and would be deposited into a mandatory version of the Thrift Savings Plan, the military’s existing 401(k)-style account that now does not include government matching contributions.
A critical new feature would adjust those contributions to give more money to troops who deploy frequently, accept hardship assignments or serve in high-demand jobs. It would also give the services a new lever to incentivize some troops to leave or stay on active duty longer.
The new proposal was unveiled July 21 by the Defense Business Board, the wellspring for many cost-saving initiatives adopted by the Defense Department in recent years. The new retirement plan would mark the biggest change in military retirement in more than 60 years and require approval from Congress.
“The current system is unfair, unaffordable and inflexible,” said Richard Spencer, a former finance executive and Marine Corps pilot who led the board’s eight-month retirement study.
This alternative plan would “enhance the ability of the service member to build a meaningful retirement asset [with] complete flexibility for their lifestyle or desires,” Spencer said.
It’s unclear whether troops would have immediate access to all the retirement money or whether it would be partially or completely withheld until a traditional retirement age, such as 65. Under the current TSP, troops cannot withdraw money until age 59½ without incurring a significant penalty, except in certain specified circumstances.
Fairness is a key factor, Spencer said. Along with saving the Pentagon money, the new plan offer significant retirement benefits to the roughly 83 percent of troops who leave service before reaching 20 years.
Unlike other proposals to overhaul military retirement that would grandfather current troops, the board suggests that DoD could make an “immediate” transition to the new system, which would affect current troops quite differently depending on their years of service:
• Recruits. The newest troops out of boot camp after the proposed change would have no direct incentive to stay for 20 years and would not get a fixed-benefit pension. Instead, they would receive annual contributions to a Thrift Savings Plan account and could leave service with that money at any time — although under current rules, they can’t withdraw the money until age 59½ without paying a penalty, except in certain specified circumstances.
• Five years of service. Troops would immediately begin accruing new benefits in a TSP account. If they remained in service until the “old vesting date” — the 20-year mark — they also would get one-fourth of the “old plan benefit,” or about 12 percent of their pay at retirement, as an annuity. If they separated, for example, after 10 years, they would walk away with no fixed-pension benefit but would have a TSP account with five years of contributions.
• 10 years of service. Troops would immediately begin accruing new benefits in a TSP account. If they remained in service for 10 more years, they would receive half of the “old plan benefit,” about 25 percent of their pay at retirement, as an annuity. If they separated after 15 years, they would walk away with no fixed-pension benefit but would have a TSP account with five years of contributions.
• 15 years of service. Troops would immediately begin accruing new benefits in a TSP account. If they remained in service for five more years, they would receive three-fourths of the “old plan benefit,” about 37.5 percent of their pay at retirement, as an annuity.
• 20 years and beyond. Troops who stayed in past 20 years would continue to receive annual TSP contributions.
The far-reaching proposal comes at a time of immense pressure on the military to cut spending and help reduce the national debt. President Obama has talked about cutting $400 billion over the next 12 years, while some proposals gaining support on Capitol Hill would call for cutting more than $800 billion over the same period.
Military retirement costs have soared in recent years because of rising life expectancy. If not contained, they will eventually “undermine future war-fighting capabilities,” Spencer said.
A new system may allow the military to make rapid changes in the size and structure of the force. For example, troops with 15 years of experience are likely targets for downsizing, and this plan would provide them with a significant retirement benefit, Spencer said.
The proposed change would have no affect on current retirees or disabled veterans.
Most private-sector companies contribute 4 percent to 12 percent of base pay into an employee’s retirement savings account. By comparison, the current military retirement benefit, for those who ultimately get it, amounts to a 75 percent contribution each year, the board said.
The board considered keeping the current system with some major changes, but concluded that those changes would not save enough money or fix the fairness and flexibility issues.
Those changes included withholding pension payments until a traditional retirement age; reducing pensions to 40 percent of regular pay rather than the current 50 percent; or calculating retirement pay based on the average pay over a member’s last five years in uniform, rather than the three years under the current system. Those changes would save about $254 billion over 20 years, the board said.

This is inspired by Molly and I am in desperate need of decluttering (still)... We buy so many things on Impulse and put them away but forget what we bought.. When we find it we most often wonder why we purchased it in the 1st Place.. So I am starting to give things away..
I have given a bunch of Stamps, Clothing, Floral Decor and more to the Church Garage Sale. 100% proceeds went to a Family in Minot who lost allot during the Flood and their House needs allot of expensive work to be livable again..
Anyways today I am going thru all my many Magazines and Books.. I decided to give away Old Scrapbook and Cardmaking Idea Books/Magazines.. Hope someone will be able to use them.. We have a Group on Facebook where you can post the Items you are giving away.. Neat Idea!

Gift for my Friend

Here is something I got for my Friend Vikki while we were in Minn. One of the Booth sold these beautiful painted Boards with Letters of your choosing.. I thought they were painted on but was miss-informed. It was vinyl Letters they just stuck on. I didn't like the lettering font they used so thought I would do it myself.. Here is what I came up with for her :)
Had not seen one of these in her House yet so hope she really likes it.. I am giving it to her when she comes over to go for our Walk :)

She likes Dolphins but the Lady didn't have any :( I remembered her telling me about Dragonflies so saw this one and got it.. I really hope she likes it..

Baptism

We are back from our Trip to Minnesota for the annual Blueberry Arts Festival as well as Madison's Baptism. Most of the Family came up to Ely to attend the Festival and Baptism as well..

Anniversary

My MIL LOVES Hummingbirds so I wanted to make a Card with 1 of my Hummingbird Stamps.. I hope they will like the Card.. I found the Rhinestone Heart in 1 of the Princess Packs I bought for Madison's Scrapbook (which I have not touched since posting those pages) and thought it would be perfect for this Card.

Wow what a successful Party Vikki and I had.. I can't believe Scentsy is such a hot Item.. Oh wait no I CAN believe it.. All these yummy Scents.. I got to smell the new Scent for next month and oh boy do I LOVE it.. It smells so refreshing and clean and relaxing.. alright.. enough
Anyways as with the Pampered Chef Party in May Vikki and I wanted to thank everyone who ordered from the Party with a card..
We made a total of 20 Cards. 6 were mailed and the other 14 Thank you's were included in the Bags with the Orders.

Working on my August Summer Swap Cards.. thinking of Friends and plan on making some more Cards to send to them as well.. Been missing my Louisiana Gals allot.. I also made a Card to send to my dear Friend who recently lost a loved one. I forgot to take a picture of it though :(

Today was a bla day.. all I see and hear is bad stuff in the News.. So many horrible things happening every Day.. It brings you down. I need to leave the TV and Radio off.. Keep Cartoons on. I am still very saddened by the recent events and it breaks my Heart.. I still don't understand how that could have happened! Our Justice System has surely failed! No Justice was served. Some Cards.. no really I made some

I am sure you are tired of my Petition Posts so I actually made some Cards to show off. I am working on my Thank you Card stash because we don't say Thank you enough.. I read a Book recently about 365 Days of Thank yous. It transformed a Man's Life. We are quick to point out the bad, the ugly but forget to be thankful for the good.. and since reading this Book I have to say WOW there are so many good's around you. If we stop focusing on the negative and the could be and would be we would see them more. We take our Kids to so many things yet do we ever really thank those who take our kids safely to school, teach our children dance or TKD.. Sure we say Thank You but I bet if we made a Card and handed it to the Bus Driver or the Person at Starbucks who gives you your coffee when you come in and knows you by Name (no I don't go to Starbucks but the Atty who wrote the Book did).. I bet it really shows them how are appreciative we really are. It might come at a time in their Life's when they are struggling. and it would make their Day.. I think I am going to try and make 365 Thank you Cards and be more appreciative of what I have by giving a Card instead of wishing and wanting more (lets see how long the wishing and wanting more part lasts, ha ha)!

I also went back to Church after having some personal struggles. What a great beginning to a awesome Day. I worked with the Bible Bits Group (2-5 Year olds) and it was so much fun. After Church we headed to Fargo for a So Called Casting Call Audition. After the so called Casting Call Audition we went to this awesome Japanese Cuisine in Fargo. Kobe's. OMG it was soooo tasty.Here are a few Pictures I took at the Restaurant.

Thank you for the Post on this Petition Andrea. I have also signed it and want to share it for those who agree as well and would sign it too.. Since Justice didn't come for Caylee from her Family maybe Strangers can try to bring Justice for this little Girl!!!

If this case is brought before the Federal court it will be a exception to double jeopardy and from the moment Casey Anthony lied to the FBI she was in violation of The Martha Stewart law. This is a federal offense and comes with a 5 year sentence for each count. First Degree Murder is also a federal offense! Please we must not let this crime go unpunished. An injustice was commited on July 5th, sign this petition and give Caylee the justice she deserves.

Hello,

On July 5, 2011, at 1:15 pm Central Standard Time, Casey Anthony was found not guilty of first degree murder in the death of her daughter Caylee Anthony. The only charges she now faces are four counts of falsifying police reports, each of which only carries a 1 year prison term. As of today it has been ruled that she will be released on Wednesday, July 13th.

Within our Judicial system, the State of Florida is no longer able to try Casey Anthony for the murder of Caylee Anthony as this will be considered Double Jeopardy, but within the Separate Sovereigns rule The U.S. Federal Government is.First Degree murder is a federal offense and, from the moment Casey Anthony lied to the FBI she was in violation of The Martha Stewart Law which comes with a year sentence for each count. I beseech you, do not let this crime go unpunished.

Since the ruling of this case it has been confirmed that as many as 5 jurors have been offered everything from interviews to book deals, with juror number 6 being offered a reported 5 figures to do a media interview. Juror number 3 has gone on record to state that the decision given has made her sick to her stomach and she did not feel Casey Anthony was truly not guilty. It has also been confirmed that the jury for the 11 hours they were in the deliberation room did not deliberate at all but were said to be playing cards, leaving their notes on their chairs in the courtroom. Throughout the entirety of this case right down to the verdict, it has bared a shocking resemblance to the trial of O.J. Simpson. There was a reason that after the O.J. Simpson trial was over the law was enacted to stop jurors from being able to sell their story for 90 days, and I would hate to think that this beautiful child was not given the justice she deserved for the opportunity of wealth.

This case has touched hearts all over the world and on July 5th when it was announced a verdict had been reached everyone watched and waited. It would be a understatement to say that the verdict was anything but shocking. With the evidence that the State of Florida provided it's hard to believe anyone with a sound state of mind would have ruled this case not guilty on every count. This was not justice for Caylee Anthony and many people the world over have lost faith in our Judicial System. I still want to believe that we as a nation have the best Judicial System in the world but it only works when everyone involved is honest in the search for justice.

The case of Caylee Anthony was tragic, and I do not want this to be misconstrued as a "witch hunt", but justice was not given. The jury was not honest in their search for justice. I beseech you, bring this case before the Federal Court, give Caylee another chance at the justice she deserves.

I am sure each and everyone of us has seen or heard something about this Case that started 3 years ago.. What a sad and tragic incident.. No earthly Justice for Caylee will be served.. This way there will be no more cases like Casey Anthony's in the courts, and no more innocent children will have to go without justice.

Also, make it a felony for a parent, legal guardian, or caretaker to not notify law enforcement of the death of their child, accidental or otherwise, within 1 hour of said death being discovered.

The case of Caylee Anthony was tragic, and there is no reason for another case like this one to hit the courts. Let's do what is necessary to prevent another case like this from happening.

I know we all have to make them at one point or another but it's so sad and I get really emotional every time I make one.. Just thoughts of how short life can be pop in my Head and what would happen should I leave tomorrow suddenly without any warning... I have had some bad days lately.. just very negative and I don't know exactly why. It's beautiful out and my Bestie is back from vacation.. We walked and I got everything off my Chest. She is so level headed and is walking in the right direction while pulling me with her.. Oh how I missed her during the Weeks she was gone.. so glad she is back.. She gave me a great Book to read and wow I am not alone in my feelings.. she is such a positive spirit and with her I can get back to that as well!
I also made reservation for a Night away with the Hubby and Kids to a fun water park not too far from here.. I can not wait to go and just chillax.. Mall of America and a Trip to the In-Laws is still on this Summers Plan.. But work might put a kink into my Plans.. It will all work out though
Anywho now I poured part of my Heart out so I better show off my Cards.. The 1st one is for my SIL.. So happy she likes my Card and let me do one for her to give to the Schultz Family!

Worked on a few Pages over the past 2 days and wanted to show some off.. They are nothing fancy but it's about time that I use this Paper I have everywhere.. so my Goal is to use what I have before getting anything new...

The Pages are from the Once Upon a Time DCVW Stack I purchased oh prolly 1.5 to 2 years ago.. Yup I have never touched it till now.. I got the other Pages I used for Photo Mat, Journaling or just the Princesses from my BFF Lisa a while back too.. The Stickers I added are also old old old and some I don't even know where I got them from.. I am sooo proud of myself for sitting down and doing something.. although this is what I could stare at now too..

I am not quite back yet but I actually made 5 Scrapbook Pages today.. and managed to make something the other Day.. I have been rethinking and redoing things.. More time with Family.. less making Wishlists.. I got the new Stampin Up Book that will go Live next Month and OMWerd soooo many cute things I want.. but do I need them? Nope of course not.
So here is a Bookmark I made for Dh.. He loves to read WWE Autobiographies so I got him 2 new ones that recently came out..

And a Card I actually forgot I made him and lost but had the Pic on my Camera.. I think I will use something like this for a Swap I joined again.. One of the Months is Valentines Day..

Well it's late and I need to get some Z'sssss.. Have a Dental Appt in the morning. I so don't like going there.. They are nice but the sound of the Drills drive me crazy..

We are NOT moving.. We got the Call Friday morning that the House was ready.. WHAT.. that was fast since they just started to work on it the Day before. Anywho went to get the Key that afternoon and parked both Vehicles in the Garage.. What a tighter fit.. Then as soon as we walked into the Laundry Room entrance from the Garage the Cigarette Smoke hit me.. I am sure it would go away in time but they only painted. No new Carpet so the Smoke smell was still everywhere. The Vents had not been cleaned yet nor was any of the Dog Damage fixed. The other thing that worried me is there was Rat or Mouse Poison thru-out the Garage. Anyways after talking and thinking over the Weekend we decided against moving. I was having Chest and Breathing problems again for Hours after looking at the House and it's just not worth it. I was so hoping it would have been better but someone is telling us NOT to move.. All the Signs are against that House.. Maybe better things are ahead for us. When I talked to the Girl at Housing she did ask if there was another Street we would be interested in and if there was a House available it was ours.. but we decided from the beginning this or nothing. It was the perfect fit for us with location and all. She was really nice and I appreciate her kindness and willingness to offer us something else. Never been treated that nice at the Housing Office before so I will give her Kuddo's!
So since I had packed up most of my Craft Room and have tons of other Crap in there I am going to rethink how we have this House set up.. Maybe rearrange some of the Rooms and redo my Craft Space.. Organizing is SCREAMING at me.. So I will be back with new Projects once we get this House back together again.. I have both of my July Swaps done and ready so I am good till August there and can take my Time redoing this entire House from top to bottom. Clear out some more stuff we really don't need!!!

I have been wondering if others do this.. I give our Bus Driver Gifts for Christmas and such so of course at the last Day of School too. I mean she picks up my Child every Morning and brings him safely to school.. then returns him safely again to me.. I admire Bus Drivers.. They have a tough Job even if it's only for a hour or so a Day! I don't know if I would have the patience to be one!! So we are giving our Bus Driver some yummy smelling Candles along with.. yup you guessed it.. a Card. And since I am loving the embossing lately I made one but with a different folder..

I LOVE this Card and will make a few more like this for Anniversary's and Birthday's.. Don't they make some Elegant Cards?

Yuppeeeee Last Day of School was on Thursday.. We made the Teacher a Card along with a Gift.. The Card is very similar to yesterdays but I used Very Vanilla 3/8 Taffeta Ribbon and the many thanks Stamp from a All Year Cheer Set!. Also only used Frost White Shimmer Paint in Center of blooms. It's hard to see though.. This Card is sooo beautiful in Person. I hope his Teacher will like it!

Here is a quick Update..
Got a Call from the Housing Office that our House won't be ready in the time frame we were given as they need to replace the Carpet and do lots of work on the House.
We got the Key for the adjoining Unit again to measure (I took Pictures of that one as it is move in ready) and snuck a peak into the Unit (seems different then the Unit I took Pictures of) we are getting. OMG I was soooo sick to my Stomach and left with Chest Pains and a sore throat. The stench of Dog was bad but the Smoke stench was the worse.. The prev. residents smoked in the House!.. I honestly think with all the rules the Gov has I believe they should implement you can NOT smoke in gov housing. I know I will probably get some heck for that but I don't care. It's not your House. You don't own it.. There was allot of damage from the large Dog they owned so that has to be fixed. The don't have Money to do all the work till next Month. So thinking with all the work that has to be done. Fix Doors, Paint Walls, rip out old Carpet and put new carpet in, clean Air Ducts, fix more Dog Damage on Walls, Door frames as well as on the outside of the House. We might get the Key to look at it by middle of next Month. If the House still smells we are not moving. My Health and the Health of my Kids is much more important then the bigger House by a nice Playground in Eye Site. They will offer us a new House but Hubby and I decided that if this House doesn't work out we are staying in the House we have now. I love this House but some things have been happening here which is the Reason we looked into moving in the 1st Place. It will all work out in the end and I have faith in that. We are putting packing on hold for now as I have a feeling the other House isn't working out! Anyways I had started to pack up my Stamps so might unpack some stuff again.. I am joining a new Swap so have to get busy and work ahead on those Cards just in case we do move so I have the 1st Month done.. If you are looking for a good Swap to join check THIS ONE OUT!
I also mailed my Card to my Friend for her Friend but forgot to take a Picture :( I have had some Ideas in my Head over the last few Days that I need to get out of my Head.. So with that I hope to have something to show off real soon..

Well it's Promotion Time in the Military.. Today they publicly announced who made the Rank to Master Sgt. I am soooo thrilled my Hubby along with some Friends' Hubby's made it another step further in their Careers. I am so proud of him.. We have been talking about if he made it that we could move to a larger House and have been looking at houses that are empty.. so now that it's official and with how things have been going we went to the Housing Office.. they offered us both Houses we had talked about and we ended up choosing the 1st one. So many perks but moving is hard.. allot of work but I know it's worth it.. We have a beautiful Playground not too close in the Backyard but Alex can go there and play AND I can see him :) His Friends Dad made Rank as well and they took the House down the Street from ours so the Boys can play this Summer. The Yard is already fenced as well so we are going to measure our Fence we purchased and put into this Yard and post it for Sale. The Yard will need some work since they had a Dog and the Weeds are horrible but I am sooo thrilled.. Now need to get Boxes and start packing. We will get the Key in the next 8-9 Days and then have 2 Weeks to move out of this House and have it spottless.. Allot of work ahead so I will not be crafting much in the next few Weeks till the move is done and we are all settled again.
Here is a Card I had made for Hubby when he 1st tested for this Stripe. I am soooo happy that I got to give it to him.. Actually I am ecstatic.. He has been wanting this and I am sooo happy for him!

and I will leave you with this picture I took this morning. I will miss the Sunrise Pictures but I am sure I will get some other good ones.. Will take Pictures of the House once we get the Key and before we move in. I hope we are making the right choice with this Move. You always have that thought in the back of your mind.

I finally started crafting again.. Been on a little slow hump here.. I finished 15 Thank you's to stick in the Pampered Chef Orders when they arrive tomorrow. I also need to mail 2 of them to friends who ordered from out of State.
I am working on a special Card to send to a Friend for a Friend of hers and hope to be able to show it off soon too. It will probably be after it's mailed and arrived with the rate I am going right now.

So I have not been crafty at all.. Kids have been keeping me super busy as well as chillin' with Friends and getting ready for my annual Party.. OMG what a Party it was.. It was a great success. So today I have a 1st Birthday Party to go to.. Actually in 3 Hours and I have NADDA.. Not a Idea in my Head.. So I am still sitting in my Jammies trying to come up with something.. Then need to come up with something for Hubby's Homecoming tomorrow. I know silly because he was only gone 8 days. Might get the Kids a Balloon each and take to the Airport.. now that's cute, lol
What else have I done.. Oh yeah I got my Nose pierced with my Friend Theresa.. Been wanting to get it re-pierced for a while and finally did it.. I have to say this time around it was a bit uncomfortable. Not sure if it's because I chose the same spot and there is prolly Scar tissue from when I had it before.. Madison snagged it and ripped it so I had to take it out because it was getting really bad.. Anywho I am praying this one will heal and I can keep it..
So for Crafty News. I am sure you guys don't want to read all the above.. I did something about a Week ago before Dh left and never showed it off..

What'cha think? I got the Stamp Years ago (maybe 5 or more Years ago) at Hobby Lobby on Clearance. Wasn't a good Clearance as I still paid quite a bit for it but I had to have it.. So here is a different Red White and Blue Card I came up with.. I also embossed the Blue with the Stars Cuttlebug Emboss Folder.. Might use this Card for the Swap in July.. not sure yet as I have 1 more cute stamp I am eying..
Well better get off this Computer and get busy with a Birthday Card.. Hope I can come up with one.

This month will be busy.. I have my annual Whip Cancer Pampered Chef Party in memory of my late Sister (will post more Information later, if anyone would like to place a Order to help whip Cancer).. My Bestiest Hubby is returning from his 6 months deployment. I am soo excited for her. A new Friends Hubby will also be joining her again after they were evacuated from Japan due to the events there. This Month we hope to find out some good News (please pray for us and that with the 1st good news the 2nd might fall into Place.. not gonna mention it as I don't want to jinx it).. This Month we have a few Birthdays to celebrate and probably make cards for. My Son Jonathan will be16.. My late Sisters Son will turn 18.. My SIL has a Birthday as well... AND the last Day of School is this Month...
Well I am off to try to get some Z'ssssssss.. been a loooong Day!

Today is my Hubby's Birthday.. Being the good Wife that I am, I made him a Card..

Stamp Set I believe is called Sign Language (I purchased it used and didn't have a Sticker).. Used the Hearts Cuttlebug emboss Folder. Red and White Cardstock (Stampin UP) and Red Stickles Glitterglue for the Hearts. Some Wide Organdy Ribbon and sponged Red Ink on the White to give it a little color..
Now off to work on something I can hide in his Bag for tomorrow. Hubby has to leave for a Week :(

I have been Brain storming a R-W-B Card for the July Swap and since I am early with all of them I played around.. Not liking this one very much yet and will play some more..
I am going thru all my Supplies and parting with a ton of Paper and some Stamps. Seriously how many stampsets and Paper packs does a Person need and use.. I am starting to downsize which if we ever leave this place I will have to seriously think about doing that too.. I have a had time parting with things though. Got to push past that..

Baptism

Sunday my Friend Vikki got baptised.. I made her a Card Friday but totally forgot it at home so she didn't get it :( I am sooo proud of her and so happy for her.. She is such a caring, sweet, kind and just a overall wonderful Woman. I admire her in so many ways.
Anywho here is the Card I made her.. I have seen this technique at several different Blogs and had to try it out. I cute out the Image with the Big Shot and Lattice Die. Trimmed it to make a Cross.. Then glued it onto the Cardstock and used a Emboss Folder and embossed the Cut out and Cardstock. added some Stampin Up Rhine Stones and voila. Doesn't it look amazing?

I LOVE how is looks like it's all one piece..
I hope she likes the Card too..

I have been reading my Bible and let me tell you.. I am getting confused and it's been really messing with my Head.. I am torn with what to believe and I am so confused right now.. I don't know how to say it but here it goes.. maybe one of my Readers will have a answer for me.. when God flooded the Earth and only Noah, his Wife, Sons and their Wifes survived did Brother and Sister re-produce? Like I said I am really confused and I am probably missing something.. or I am reading into too much.. I tend to do that. Over analyze which drives me crazy! With knowledge you have questions and I try to tell my Children if you don't know the answer you should ask someone.. maybe someone will have the answer.. Hope someone does.

Tanya made me a super duper cute Card and sent it to me. I was so thrilled because.. well just look at this beautiful Card.. and it is mine.. mine.. mine, tee hee.. Tanya is sooo talented.

The Postal service wasn't very careful with it :( I absolutely love this Card.. all the layers and glitter.. Thank you Tanya for sending me such a stunning Card.. I will cherish it!

I was bad this Year and didn't make 1 Easter Card :( I am sorry.. I have had Ideas but somehow thought I would have more time.. I had plans to but now Easter is here and I worked on everything else but that.. My Friend Karen sent me this beautiful Easter card (and I will get a Card to her, I promise). I had to show it off as well because it is also sooo beautiful..

The Picture actually opens up and the message is on the Inside.. I will have to copy this.. Such a neat Idea! Her coloring is beautiful. Thank you Karen for thinking of me this Easter Season.. I am blessed to know you.

I have been busy over the last few Days..
I made 18 Cards in 2 Days and I am so proud of myself. Granted 2 x 8 are the same Design and another 2 are the same Design but I added to my stash... Some Birthdays and some Thank you's. Always good to have Thank you's on hand. It's nice to be thankful and show your appreciation..
Anywho I had joined a Swap to make 4 Cards to send in May, June and July. I showed off May's earlier so here is June's. I made 8 of these as well as May's Design so I can have some in my Stash for upcoming Birthdays.. the Theme is Embossing- Flowers.. Since June is still a ways away I will prolly change my Mind and make something different. I already have a different Idea in my Head.. sad huh? Having a blast though being creative and it is soooo relaxing!

My 1st Swap Card

Friday I worked on some Cards for the Swap I joined over on Splitcoast Stampers.. The Theme for our 1st Swap next Month is monochromatics. Now being a foreigner I have to say I had no clue what that was.. so asked the host and she explained.. All in the same color Family.. So brainstormed the other night while looking thru the Catalog which Stamp(s) I could use and colors and drew out my Design...
Here is what I made (I only needed 4 but it's always good to have some extras on Hand so I made 8 of these)

I used a Night of Navy Marker and colored in the middle of the Medallion Stamp and stamped it on Blue Cardstock.. then punched it out with the Scalloped Circle Punch..

Popped it up with a Dimensional

I used Blue Stickles Glitterglue to add a little Bling to my Card

Stampin Up Cardstock Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue and Ballet Blue
